Precision Adjustment Set Screw - .500 Screw Diameter

Precision 1/2"-40 302 Stainless Steel set screw with hex socket drive. The ball end is 0.188" radius. Overall length is 1-5/8" with 1-3/8" effective thread length. The ball end has a relief back to the thread that allows the tip to be inserted into a 90 degree cone or vee slot with out interference by the thread. This adjustment screw unlike similar adjustment screws with pressed in bearing balls has no trapped volume under the ball that out-gasses in a vacuum. The screw is one solid part eliminating the failure of pressed in balls falling out during cleaning .
