Axial Spring loaded Kinematic Assembly-8mm

This new product provides the ability to connect two bodies via a kinematic vee and an adjustable spring loaded spherically tipped hollow precision 5/16-80 threaded screw. The adjustable “Z” axis can be locked in place with the locking bushing/collet. A desired load can then be applied by compressing the spring washers with a screw passing through the assembly into the base part. The advantage of this design is in removing the need of external methods of providing a preload to the assembly, such as springs and posts.
