One Inch Toroid Sphere KD-16-440

KD-16,is a double toroid kinematic component. This hardened 440C stainless steel component is designed to be used in place of a 1" diameter ball with Hitek's KS-16, KS-16-TS/174 kinematic Vee slot. This exchange will raise the load capacity of the pair by increasing the radius from 1/2 inch to 6 inches in the pointing direction of the Vee. The component can be secured through the top with a shoulder screw for central location with pins to align the vee, or from the bottom with screws and pins. The component can be special ordered in 17-4PH-H900 or in A-2 HRC62 tool steel.
